An Anthology of Loss, Healing, and Resilience
About
Loss is a universal experience - it is something we will all face one day. What is different for us all, is how we grieve the loss to find a way to heal, if we heal. An Anthology of Loss, Healing, and Resilience began as a journal, a tool for me to process my grief to heal after becoming aware at age 37 that I had lived my life emotionally stunted following the loss of my sister Karen in 1972, when I was 11. After experiencing other varying types of painful, yet no less devastating loss, the book became fluid, ever-changing as each loss came and went, challenging me more, making me stronger and better prepared to cope with the next loss that would inevitably come my way. While these experiences are deeply personal, I knew that I needed to share my story, so that you know you are not alone.
