Leesa O'Donnell Tomsett is the author of An Anthology of Loss, Healing, and Resilience. Since retiring from federal service in June 2025, she has split her time between healing from the experience and finally finishing her book, which took 28 years, and plenty of heartache and tears to complete. In addition to spending time marketing her book, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son in San Antonio, Texas, along with their two conures - Birdo a Sun Conure and Birdee a Green Cheek, and their dog Bear.
